TIGER'S FAMILY FEUD

There's a big chill in the air betwen Tiger Wood's wife Elin Nordegren, and his mother, Tida. It's always been somewhat istance between them from the very beginning. Elin is very Christian and Tida is very Buddhist. Tida sided with Tiger not to attend his daughter's baptism. From the point on their relationship went from composed and formal to distant.

Tiger's affair didn't help. Tida, says the source, is 100 percent behind her son. Whatsoever doesn't fit into that game plan. Like Elin not immdetiately forgiving and forgetting. makes Tida angry. She's a woman who forgave her cheating husband, so she thinks Elin should do the same thing and stop shaming him.

Tida's Ideals seem to pit the two against each other. Tida is old Fashioned and thinks Elin should stand by Tiger regardless of his behaviour. When Elin decided not to go to Tiger's press conference, this really upset Tida. She was more angry at her daughter in law in this situation.

Still, they both put good faces on because they both love Tiger. Elin holds the balance of power now, and she couldn't care less what Tida wants. AS far as she's concerned, all of this, specially her marital issues, is none of Tida's business.
